Forests Ontario Conference: Growing a Healthy Tomorrow – For Communities, For Earth, For Life
Forests Ontario’s 9th Annual Conference will be held from February 16-17 at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort & Conference Centre in Alliston, Ontario. The event will be hybrid, meaning that for the first time in three years, our Annual Conference will combine a live in-person event with virtual components! Click here to get your tickets!
Forests Ontario has an exciting couple of days planned with leading experts, engaging discussions, and incredible networking opportunities to connect and inspire you. Headlining the roster of speakers is Natalie Panek, rocket scientist, adventurer, and advocate for women in technology. Panek will be joined by a number of sector leaders including global change researcher Ingo Ensminger, Canada Research Chair in Forest Resilience to Global Changes Christian Messier, Paul Ronan with the Ontario Parks Association, Megan Baskerville of Environment and Climate Change Canada, John Pedlar of Natural Resources Canada, Sean Rootham of Ducks Unlimited Canada, and the many others who will explore the human, ecological and climate impacts on our natural environments, and the integral role nature and forests play in our everyday lives.
Now is the time for collective action to grow a healthy tomorrow for our communities, our planet, and our own health.
