Forest History Ontario Annual Meeting

Supporters of Ontario’s Forest History are invited to attend their Annual Meeting on February 11, 2025, from 10:30 – 12:00.  The meeting will once again be held virtually through a Zoom Call and will also include special guest speakers. 

The business session is scheduled from 10:30-11:00 followed by a presentation from 11:00 – 12:00.   You are encouraged to register by Jan 21, 2025. You can register by sending an e-mail to Brooke McClelland bmcclelland@forestscanada.ca.  

A meeting package will be sent to all those who register which will include an agenda, the Chair’s Report on key activities undertaken in 2024 and those planned for 2025, along with activity reports, financial summaries and our 2025 slate of Board Directors.

This year we welcome special guest speakers, Sarah-Anne Gould and Fiona Symington from Laurentian University. Both are very capable researchers working with Dr Mark Kuhlberg on compiling The Tembec Story, preparing a book for publication in the near future. This exciting FHO project tells the remarkable story of Tembec, one which will be of great interest to many.  More information can be found on the attached poster.
